(bottle, 33cl) Cloudy, golden colour with a blond and huge foamy head. Yeasty, mildly malty, slightly wheaty and fruity aroma with notes of grapefruit and tangerine. Slightly bitter and delicately tart flavour, light bodied with a fizzy carbonation. Slim malty base with hints of wheat and fruity notes of mainly grapefruit; dry and slim fruit-accented and yeast-spicy finish. Not great but refreshing. 26.VIII.16

(bottle) Cloudy, orange-golden colour with a tall but quickly diminishing frothy white head. Yeasty, moderately wheaty and slightly grainy aroma with fruity notes of banana and clovy spice in the background. Moderately sweet and delicately sour flavour, light to medium bodied with a medium carbonation. Slightly grainy wheaty taste with hints of white bread and caramel, accompanied by fruity notes of banana and shades of peach; moderately sweet malty and wheaty finish with fruity accents, vanilla and mildly clovy spice. On tap at Hutt’n Nuremberg. As Weisse Eule 5.5% abv. Orange gold cloudy colour normally. Tropical fruit. Passionfruit. Apricot. Peach. Just lovely. Not much hop or herb. But lovely.

On tap @FrankenBierFest (Rome). Pours pale golden with a medium white head. Aroma is malty, bready, hoppy, grass, floral, nuts. Flavour is malty, great balance and finesse. Medium body, medium carbonation. Very good beer!
