Süß hefiger Beginn, minimal herb, intensiv hefig-Tequilla-Holz. Wenig karbonisiert. Nett. 10/10/9/9//9

Nice brown color with red highlight, tan head. Aroma is bourbon, lots of bourbon. Vanilla, caramel, booze. Taste is huge barrel, some beer detectable, but quite boozy-hot, a bit tart. Silky mouthfeel, some chewiness. Nice, but needs more balance, it’s got way too much barrel and not enough beer character.

Murky orange color with white head. Aroma is spicy yeasts, honey, some wood sugar and schnaps. Taste is schnaps-sweet, honey, biscuits. Again, too much barrel.

2015 version, only 750 bottles made. Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass brownish, nice head. Nice malty-alcoholic aroma, hints of caramel. Starts quite strong, malty, alcoholic, not too intense. Nice and interesting light sourish notes, hints of berries. Not too roasty, some woody notes. Finish still fruity-sourish, strong. Warming finish. Quite drinkable for its strength. Good one, although quite expensive.

Had this with 10,7% ABV. Bottle looks really, really good. Beer in the glass dark brown, small head. Intense malty-alcoholic aroma. Starts very strong, sharp, quite alcoholic. Roasty notes, modest spicy-woody. Finish still very strong, alcoholic. Goes down burning. Not a every-day beer. But okay.

Pours a slightly golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty grainy grassy aroma.

Hytte 240715. Dark brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is smoke, malt, caramel, alcohol. Flavour is smoke, hop, fruit, caramel, malt, bread, alcohol, fruit, dried fruits. Full body. OK beer.
