Description
Grand Teton Brewing is committed to crafting only the highest quality ales and lagers. We take measures at every point in our brewing, packaging and shipping process to ensure that we deliver only the best beers to you. Our Quality Manager performs multiple tests of every batch at every stage and conducts daily tastings of our finished brews to guarantee that only the best possible beers make the journey from our brewery to your glass.

We believe that Teton Valley, Idaho is the best place on earth to craft beer. Our water is glacial run-off, filtered over 300-500 years by Teton Mountain granite and limestone before it surfaces at a spring a half mile from the brewery. Teton Valley grows the world’s best malting barley, and Southern Idaho includes some of the finest hop farms in the world.

Bottled. Cloudy pale orange, mid-sized head. Buttery malt aroma. Sweet with medium-full body. A good amount of caramelly malt gives a firm, rounded mouthfeel. Some butterscotch is there bo accompany the notes of cranberry and grass. Restrained bitterness. A solid malty gently warming beer.

Bottle from Park Lane Liquor in Lancaster, CA. This beer is a dark brown color with ruby around the edges. Medium beige head that dissipates slowly, and spotty lacing. Aroma of bready malt, hops and touches of fruit. Medium-bodied and moderately bitter with flavors of hops, caramel malt and grain. The finish is hoppy with a lindgering bitterness. Not too bad for my first Idaho beer.

Aromas of caramel malt and floral hop. Hazy reddish amber color with a white/beige head that ringed rapidly. Medium body with fizzy/creamy carbonation. The flavor is bready/caramel malt and citrus and a touch of funk. The finish is sort of citrus sour/sweet with a little hop bitter to go along. A balanced finish, but it seems "dusty".

Bottled. Dark ruby/brown, small head. Light grapefruity aroma. Medium sweet with clean crystal malt character. Medium bodied with restrained American style graepfruity hop profile. Shooting for balance it seems, but needs deeper, softer malt to achieve greatness. Still a highly enjoyable beer.

Bottled, no 1 at Papsoes blindtasting. Pours hazy orange with a lacing white head. Slight orange and peach fruity aroma, medium sweet. Flavour holds a mild fruity note, orange and slight hoppy. Ends with a lingering caramel malt and a floral to fruity bitterness. Nice. Now that I know it is a Mai bock I have to note that it is quite unconventional for that style.

Hazy golden color. The aroma is light, but also a bit fruity. Medium body, some malt sweetness, light cereals flavor. The final, correctly bitter, has also a light yeast astringency. Pleasant because of the fruity touch in a Belgian Ale, but a bit weird and too yeasty. Not bad.

On tap pours out a nice black topped with a tan head. A nice sweet aroma. Some hops and dark roast in it aswell. Tast of coffee, bitter hops, and chocolate. Not as thick as I would have liked it. But it is the best Grand Teton brew I have had.

(Bottle 100 cl) Courtesy of Skyview. Clear, deep golden with an off-white head. Sweetish, malty nose. Medium body with very clean, sweetish malt. The finish is dry with a discreet bitterness. Very classic and well-made Maibock. 301107

Rich aroma of roasted malt with some citrus hop. Medium mahogany color with a white head that flattened rapidly. Bits of lace get left as the level goes down. Medium body with creamy, nigh chewy, carbonation. The flavor is roasted malt, lots of it, with some citrus hop that does not seem enough to balance. The finish is malt, but as the liquid leaves the sweetness departs to reveal some nice bitter hop - and it ends more dry than not. After awhile I get coffee at the end of a mouthful. Overall it is a really good drink.
