We believe that Teton Valley, Idaho is the best place on earth to craft beer. Our water is glacial run-off, filtered over 300-500 years by Teton Mountain granite and limestone before it surfaces at a spring a half mile from the brewery. Teton Valley grows the world’s best malting barley, and Southern Idaho includes some of the finest hop farms in the world.

Bottle pours a light, slghtly hazy golden witha small quick white head. Light sweet malts. Flavor is light grains and a bit grassy. PLeasant and light, nothing offensive, but nothing remarkable either.

Bottle: Pours a clear golden color with a large white head that dissapated quickly. Nose is floral and sweet, but comes across with heavy grain tones. Like a whole grain cereal. Taste is grains, wheat, a light bitters in the tail. Has a musty and earthy feel typical of the organic genre.

Bottle: Pours a orange/amber with just a slight haze, smaller white head. The nose is mild of malt and fruit. Taste is sweet overall. Malt and fruitiness, just a slight bit of earthy breadiness and hints of herbals. Very soft feeling and overall quite drinkable.

1L Bottle Pours a hazy light orange amber with a small white head and spotty lacing Strange slightly fruity aroma. Oranges maybe and slighty spicy. Flavor was soft bready and an odd cardboard slant. Some spices and a clean finish. Softly carbonated. Some bittering at the end. Pleasant but different.

A long, sweet finish combined with strong aroma of resinous hops make for an enjoyable beer from start to finish. Large head that dimished atop a cloudy copper body. Heavy aroma of pine, resein, grapefruit and flowers with perfume notes. Moderately sweet backbone behind moderate to heavy bitterness. Medium body. Average carbonation. Very good.

1LBottle Pours a clear tawney redish color with nary a bubble. Is a "still" strong ale a separate catagory? Fruity plum and vinous notes in the aroma with a hint of the ABV coming through. Flavor was also sweet, of pitted fruit, sweet maltiness and hey...aren’t there supposed to be hops here? More are needed to balance this out a bit more. Overall flavor profile was nice though. Thanks to Jake65 for sharing this one.

2006 Release 1L Bottle: Pours a ruby red with very little head. Like Jordan said, total lack of carbonation. Nose is sweet and fruity with hints of a hop presence. Taste is fruit dominated with lots of strawberry, citrus, and a cider like sweetness. Hints of alcohol detected. Not a bad beer, but I like much more hops in my strong ales.

This beer came to me in my beer club. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a ruby chestnut color with a medium sized tan head. The aroma was grapefruit and fairly strong nutty malts. The flavor was a complete disappointment given the nice aroma - bitter, thin and a bit vinegary with only a moderate floral hop element to give it any distinction.

Swing-top bottle: Lots of floral and citrus hops in the nose as soon as I popped the top on this one. Pour is a clear amber with a white head and very nice lacing. Medium thick body starts of sweet and fruit before rolling into a bitter hops finish with lots of citrus and florals. Even after the bitter end, there is a tingle of fruity sweetness left on the tip of the tongue. I really enjoyed this GT brew.

A pitch black beer with a thin orange head. The aroma is sweet malty with strong notes of roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of chocolate, and a very smooth mouthfeel.
