Description
Grand Teton Brewing is committed to crafting only the highest quality ales and lagers. We take measures at every point in our brewing, packaging and shipping process to ensure that we deliver only the best beers to you. Our Quality Manager performs multiple tests of every batch at every stage and conducts daily tastings of our finished brews to guarantee that only the best possible beers make the journey from our brewery to your glass.

We believe that Teton Valley, Idaho is the best place on earth to craft beer. Our water is glacial run-off, filtered over 300-500 years by Teton Mountain granite and limestone before it surfaces at a spring a half mile from the brewery. Teton Valley grows the world’s best malting barley, and Southern Idaho includes some of the finest hop farms in the world.

Bright golden-amber colour. The aroma is woody, citrusy with fresh bready maltiness. Moderate bitterness - slightly woody, earthy. Some toasted malts and clean bread notes. The palate is balanced. An IPA doesn’t need to bludgeon you with hops to be good.

Golden-amber colour with soft carbonation and thin creamy head. All right, so it looks nice. The aroma has a slight blueberry fruitiness underneath a doughy malt character and earthy English hops. Sweetish palate has more doughy accents. The finish is quick - just a hint of pale malt. An uninspired recipe well-executed.

I bought this because I was hoping the Cellar Reserve line would start to kick things up a few notches but no. It pours beautifully but that’s the high point of this brew. I didn’t taste the complexity that’s mentioned on the added label..in fact, I didn’t taste much of anything.

Maybe it *is* green and needs aging. I’ll try that next.

Bottle Pours a very dark brown black. I was expecting a thicker blacker from prev ratings. Modest light tan head on my glass and chunky thick lacing that didnt "sheet" very evenly. Spotty a bit. Aromas were the expected roasted malts, black patent and coffee notes. Flavors were mostly dark roast and black patent again, and just a little chocolate and coffee. Not particularly complex and yes...maybe a little "green". Feel was an appropriate soft carbonation and not particularly thick or rich. I also would like to sit on one or two for a while and let it "lie" a bit and give another chance to this promising local brew. Thanks to Buck Dich for sharing this one as well.

A amber beer with a small amber head. The aroma is very pleasantly hoppy combined with toffee. The flavor is very hoppy and grassy as well as contain notes of caramel. The alcohol leaves a slight burn - which amazes me considering the rather low ABV (5.5%)

1L Bottle pours a quite dark purple/brown with a good foamy off-white head. Aroma is a sweet fruity seemingly artifically enhanced red berry note. Flavors are easy on the sweet fruity notes and more so on the earthy woody cardboard. Very little cherry flavors cept maybe the stems. Quite plain and not very interesting.

Bottle Pours extremely light golden with a small short lived fizzy head. One of the least impressive head/lacing I’ve seen. Slight apple and wheat on the nose but very faint. Taste is woody, and bland. Finsih is quick with little hoppy bitterness and is not bad to drink cold on a hot day. Nothing special. "SpringsLicker" describes it quite well.

Bottle Pours very dark copper. Very little head and not much lacing. Smells of slightly sweet hopps. Strong hops flavor with a dark roast slant. Very little carbonation and a clean finish that leaves you with that lingering pucker of a "hoppy" brewskie

Bottle Pours a light golden nice think head and robust lacing. Classic hoppy IPA aroma. Temp is a bit warm but nice full, smooth almost buttery flavor and very good hoppy pucker power. Back of the throat astringent bitter feeling that stays with you. IPAs are not my fav but this is not bad.
