Cloudy straw colour with white head. Aroma of citrus, peach, cereals, light earthy hint. Taste of citrus, pineapple, pine, modest hop splash in the finish, semi-dry. Light bodied and could do with some oats to firm it up but it is refreshing and the flavour isn't entirely lost. Better than I was expecting.

Only my 8th Kolsch to date. Clear pale gold, small white top. Quite a bready-yeast aroma, sweet, hint of brioche. Taste the same, no off notes, grassy bitterness in the finish. Light to medium bodied so has some bite but remains refreshing. Not bad.

Pours a dark brown with small beige top. Aroma of chocolate, light dry roast, some sweetness - a pleasant but muted aroma. Taste holds more interest as the spiciness from the hops comes through quite nicely. It also has a decent body for the strength yet maintains an easy drinking quality. Turned out to be quite decent.

Pours a cloudy gold/light amber, small white head, some retention. Aroma of sweet pilsner malt, grains, grass. Taste has a nice clean malt profile, quite sweet, grains, hint of citrus, mild bitterness but lacks a crisp finish. Mouthfeel has a certain creaminess to it, fine carbonation. Its ok, not much else to say.

330ml fake brewery bottle from Beer52. Clear gold, small white head. Aroma of clean malts, some citrus and floral hops. Taste is sweet clean malts, some bite to it, a slight floral and fruity tang, touch of peppery spice. Mild bitterness. Could do with a crisper dry finish but other than that it is a good beer.

24/12/2024. Can from Beer52, a secret Santa Christmas gift. From the photo this appears to be exactly the same beer Chris had from the same batch of Beer52 peddled beers with the same label and hops but it’s 3.4% not 4.2%. Odd, perhaps one of the cans had a typo? Pours hazy pale yellow gold with a large frothy white head. Aroma is weak tropical fruits, grassy, husky, sweaty. Very watery. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Dryness to finish. Okay.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A hazy straw coloured pour with a fast fading white head; light lemony aroma; fresh lemony taste and a bready body. An inoffensive light beer.
