Bière bue en pression au Bar du Singe savant. La "Guerilla" de la brasserie Singe Savant se présente comme une IPA qui mise sur la simplicité et l'équilibre plutôt que sur l'extravagance. Arborant des notes de houblon bien définies et une amertume modérée, elle se positionne comme une bonne bière du quotidien. Les notes de houblon apportent une touche de caractère sans prendre le dessus, offrant un équilibre subtil de saveurs. L'amertume, quant à elle, est bien dosée, apportant une dimension sans devenir dominante.

17/2/2023. Bottle shared by minutemat, cheers. Pours close to black with a short lasting frothy beige head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malt, coconut meat, candle wax, tutti fruitti. Medium sweetness, light bitterness, tart edge. Medium body, oily, soft carbonation. Mild chilli, nothing intense. Quite okay.

330ml bottle. Pours dark with a beige head. Unfortunate lumpy yeast residue on the glass. Aroma of chocolate, dark malt. Good chocolatey character with teasing birds eye chili on the back of the throat.. smooth body, soft carbonation. Not bad.

Bottle. Black with dark chocolate mousse head. Ashy, tar, lots of raspberries, instant coffee, a touch of chocolate, earthy malts. I don’t get much maple. Medium sweet and bitter. Over medium bodied. OK but not great. It’s mostly the raspberries that make this enjoyable.
