25cl draft @ Beer Truck, parked up in Strazeele. Nice surprise on the cycle back from work, just the one new beer for me today. On the board as a Red Ale, but it's definitely a sweet spicy fruit beer with a gentle red berry touch. Ok.

Clear dark brown to black beer, small creamy beige head, a little stable, falls down quickly, a bit adhesive. Aroma: very roasted, coffee, some dark chocolate, dried fruits, some caramel. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: good roast, very bitter, dark chocolate, a bit smoky, coffee, some dried fruits, ashes, meh. Aftertaste: very bitter, dry, coffee grit, a bit hoppy, smoky, dark chocolate, no vanilla?
Clear dark brown to black beer, small creamy beige head, a little stable, falls down quickly, a bit adhesive. Aroma: very roasted, coffee, some dark chocolate, dried fruits, some caramel. Cloudy carmine to almost ruby red beer, small creamy pinkish white head, a little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: nice, funky, fruity, blueberries, a hint of diacetyl, some vanilla notes. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: nice acidity up front, very fruity, lots of sour fruits, red berries, some diacetyl. Aftertaste: pretty buttery, a little bitter, some tannins, blueberry flavoured yoghurt, watery, meh, not the best. :(

Robe ambrée. Mousse discrète. Nez légèrement épicé, avec une dominante maltée qui manque de netteté. Attaque plutôt douce mais assez plate, les notes de pomme et de poire peinent à s’exprimer et restent en retrait. Le malt domine sans apporter beaucoup de plaisir, l’ensemble manque d’intensité et de relief. Finale courte, sans véritable accroche. Barley wine décevante à mon goût, qui ne tient pas ses promesses.

Clear dark brown to black beer, creamy irregular beige head, unstable, falls down quickly, non adhesive. Aroma: good roast up front, cocoa powder, pretty smoky, quite some camp fire, nice! MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: nice roast up front, followed by a nice chilli kick, smoky, soft acidity, pretty bitter, some coffee notes, good! Aftertaste: nice roast still, bitter, still some chilli coming through, nice smoky touch, dry finish, good beer!

Clear light orange to gold blond beer, big creamy off-white head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: nice, juicy, tropical fruits, mango, orange peel, a little dank, nice and hoppy, grassy touch. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: good bitterness, a bit resinous, hoppy, tropical fruits, citrus notes, grapefruit, some caramel malts, very nice! Aftertaste: gentle bitterness, citrus, a little sweet, juicy, mango, some lychee, a bit piny, nice, very pleasant IPA, I love it!

MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: lots of strawberry and raspberry jam, pretty bitter, malty, grains, hay, orange peel, sweet touch. Aftertaste: slightly bitter, malty, orange peel, a little sweet, more raspberry jam, very nice beer, really like it!

Very cloudy orange yellow beer, small dense creamy white head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: pretty piny, dank hops, some tropical fruits, mango, zesty, citrus, a bit grassy, resinous. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body, creamy texture. Taste: nice, very dank and hoppy up front, sweet and sugary as well, very resinous, quite some hop burn, slightly bitter, tropical fruits, papaya, mango. Aftertaste: more sweetness, alcohol, mango and peach flavoured yoghurt, nice bitterness, some grapefruit, zesty, resinous hops, dank, marijuana, nice beer, if maybe a little too sweet to be honest.
