Description
Le Singe savant is an urban micro-brewery, in the heart of the city, located in Lille in the Moulins district.
We brew on a digital 200-liter system built by us and pampered to allow us to achieve all the recipes imagined in our monkey brains.
Beyond the brewing aspect, we make it a point of honor to work as much as possible with organic raw materials, favor short circuits and try to reduce our waste as much as possible.

Bottle at Firkin Alehouse Folkestone. 5.0% Hazy pale gold colour lasting white head. Good wild sherbet lemon flavour. Enormously drinkable. Hoppy slight bitterness. Really drinkable lemon and lime.

Dunkler, moderat röstiger Beginn. Süffig, eher trocken, minimal Schokolade, mittellanger Nachhall. Gut. 10/8/9/8//9

Bottle, many thanks Werckmeister! Hazy brown color with off-white head. Aroma is fresh coffee ground, earthy, nutty. Taste is coffee ground, earthy, chocolate, green bell peppers. Silky mouthfeel with quite the aggressive carbonation. Ok.

0,33l bottle at home bought in Lille. BB 04/2019. Lotno: 20180304. black color, small tan colored head. smells earthy, coffee, spices, light vanilla, marzipan, bit nutty. nice smell. medium body, pearly carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes soy saucish, earthy, spices, peppery, pearly from the carboantion, some marzipan, nutty, light vanilla. finishes lightly roasty bitter with notes of soy sauce, earthy and some peppery notes. not bad but also not that great, way too much carbonation for me, a bit on the sweet side, lacks a bit of roastyness. just decent.
