Cloudy amber with a small head. Very buttery, diacetylic, metallic, overripe fruit, caramel, resin, rye, mango, lemon, sourdough. Fruity sweetness, mild dry metallic bitterness, slightly sourish. Medium bodied, oily texture, low carbonation, dry metallic fruity malty sweet finish. Overall a very authentic Franconian Festbier, very complex, yet not mich carbonated, which makes it a bit bland, sadly.

Tap at Annafest. Golden colour I guess with medium white head. Aroma of malt and noble hops. TAste starts malty, quickly followed by nice hoppy bitterness. Very smooth and easy drinkable beer.

Almost clear dark golden with a small foamy head. Hay, straw, metal, roasted malt, caramel, sourdough. Dry metallic bitterness, malty sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft to lively carbonated, dry metallic malty bittersweet finish. Ok Festbier, not the Upper Franconian quality though...

Klare, goldene Farbe; gemischtporige und relativ stabile Schaumkrone. In der Nase malzig, würzig mit blumiger Hopfenaromatik. Im Geschmack malzig, dezent würzig, zunächst milde und im Nachtrunk deutliche Hopfenbittere, etwas Malzsüße, wenig Kohlensäure, anfangs störte mich ein leicht muffiger Eindruck, der sich jedoch mit der Zeit etwas verflüchtigt. Insgesamt ein solides Helles mit Charakter.

Dark unclear reddish. Creamy head. Basement notes, raisin, lemon, roasted malt, caramel, dark bread, nuts. Mild dry bitterness, roasty malty fruity sweetness. Medium to lively bodied, oily watery texture, soft carbonated, dry roasty malty bittersweet finish. A very rural Schwarzbier, tasty!

Amber with a frothy, white head. Caramel aroma with raisins on top. Taste is moderate sweet with just enough grassy, herbal bitterness to keep things interesting. Finishes bittersweet and much the same, with a lingering touch of honey. Body is surprisingly delicate, mild carbonation, smooth. Goes down easy. Grew on me.
