Bottle. Cloudy dark golden with floaties, low offwhite head. Clove, light fruit basket aroma. Medium body, dry mouthfeel. Lean banana and light orangepeel, dry spices, a hint salt, quick finish.

Bottle picked up from Hier-Gibt's-Bier webshop, Eckersdorf Franconia, consumed at home Sunday 21st March 2021, listening to Lost Horizons - In Quiet Moments. Pours chestnut brown with an off white head atop. Aroma is strange at first a little earthy and rustic but then a hint of onion skins or even pickled onions, however there is no suggestion that this is infected in any way as it tastes fine. Chocolate in the mouth, light cocoa powder, some caramel and a little fruit skin tanginess, quite good but perhaps my expectations were higher following the Helles that I had recently from these guys.

Bottle picked up from Hier-Gibt's-Bier webshop Eckersdorf Franconia consumed at home Saturday 20th March 2021, we have Greek Lamb Meatball, Feta and Tomato Bake for tea, listening to Shame - Drunk, Tank, Pink. This pours clear gold, excellent clarity, white head. Lovely hoppiness here, bready malts, a light lemonyness, nice bite, quality Helles. This is top notch.

Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, moderate yeasty, weizen yeast, fruity yeast, banana - fruity, clove. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, fruity, fruity yeast, weizen yeast, banana, clove, yeast. Body is medium, texture is creamy - watery, carbonation is soft. [20201108]
