18/7/2024. From BIAB at the 2024 Chelmsford Summer Beer & Cider Festival. Pours clear pale golden with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is sweet pulped apples, flowers, fragrant elderflower, meadow grass. Quite sweet. Minimal tartness. Light body, watery, soft carbonation. I’m not an elderflower fan but preferred this to some of the fruit flavoured SeaCiders on offer at the festival.

Draught at Bridge Hotel, Newcastle. Golden colour, white foam head and aroma of apple, orange marmalade. Taste is sweet, citrusy, green apple, sugary, some citric acidity. Medium bodied, light carbonation, sweet citrusy finish. Quite drinkable

Draught at Redhouse, Newcastle. Slightly hazed golden colour, no head and aroma of berry, apple. Taste is sweet, blackberry, apple, sugary. Medium bodied, low carbonation, sweet berry finish. OK, quite sweet.
