Bottled, from Landbierparadies. Clear deep golden, rocky head. Spicy nose with Earl Grey tea. Mid sweet with medium body and soft, deep malt profile. Gentle, yet rich. Mouthfilling seemless flavour of dough, spice and tea. Long growing bitterness. A lager of extraordinary quality. Never had a bottled helles with this much depth.

On tap at Cafe Wanderer Nurnberg. Clear gold lasting white head. perfumed hop lager. really good in the mouth. hoppy cream mouth feel. excellent hop. floral bitter. excellent. brilliant beer.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks avrashi. As Pottensteiner Schlüggla. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma of graininess and green apple (acetaldehyde). Sweetish flavor with some graininess, slightly sourish apple and a bitterish finish. Quite light-bodied. Strange. Drinkable but not great.

Bottled, from Landbierparadies, Nuremberg. Hazy deep golden, rocky head. Fruity nose with some apple tartness. Dryish with medium body and soft mouthfeel. Fruity and slightly tart, notes of dough and peach. Low-medium bitterness. The apple tartness does not appeal to me at all.
