Description
The Zirndorf Brewery was founded in 1674 by Margrave Johann Friedrich von Ansbach. In the middle of the 18th century the brewhouse and the other buildings were built. After an eventful history, the brewery is since 2003 part of the Tucher Group.

Bottle, online from Hereford Beer House. Pours clear dark amber with a cream head. Aroma: malt dominates, light caramel, hoppy hints. Taste: light sweet & bitter, malty, caramel. Medium body with average carbonation

From bottle. Natural lemon juice, hay, lemonade, beer. Mild dry sourness, some sweetness. Light bodied, watery texture, lively carbonated, dry finish. Nice refreshing Radler.

Bottle. Cloudy orange with a lovely white head. Aroma of light lemons, some honey and yeast. Taste of grains, honey, lemons, yeast and caramel. Low to moderate bitterness. A little bit sweet. Medium carbonation. Ok.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Pours hazy amber with a thick white head. Aromas of brown bread and light spice. Taste is more of the same, with a tangy apple note. Light sweet grainy finish.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - amber with a light haze and a big fluffy white head. Nose - citrus and biscuit. Taste - brown bread and lemon. Palate - light bodied, smooth middle with balanced bitterness on the finish. Overall - nice.

500 ml bottle. Cloudy brown, big creamy head. Hay, nuts, grassy citrussy hops, bready notes. Hoppy bitterness, malty sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry finish. Decent.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - bright amber with a slightly off-white head. Nose - corn and brown bread. Taste - brown bread again, dry green plant stalk. Palate - light bodied. Dry finish. Overall - decent example of the style.
