Keg at Prairie Fire, Wood Lane Arches, London. A dark brown/black coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Roasty, malty, chocolate, spice aroma and taste. There is a hint of maple syrup in this which makes it quite sweet, not bad but lacking complexity for my palate.

Keg at Three Hounds, Beckenham. Aroma is initially spicy. Overwhelming so with  a sour streak. Opaque dull gold. Creamy head soon recedes. Medium sour, followed by slice. Spicy apple pie. Light bodied. Soft carbonation. Abrupt finish. Light stuff.

Keg at Elusive Brewery with Dad, 17th April 2021. Pours a murky brown. Aroma is sweet, caramel and some tartness from the plum. Taste is sweet, sugary, caramel, yeast and a little tart edge and plum skin. Pretty good

Lots of mangos and guava. Some coconut and prickly pineapple which I believe attribute to the Sabro hop. Extremely coconut milky flavour so this would be an excellent accommodation to curry. Lots of haze. Incredibly unfined. Soft malts. Moderate bitterness. Late bitterness. More West Coast IBU's which defy the colour. Generally a very well-made session IPA although I am no fan of the hop which is used. Can. Drunk 27th December 2012. Bought from the brewery. --- Beer merged from original tick of For The Many on 21 Jul 2018 at 15:13

Reminds me of Kernel. Loads of peaches, lemons, melons, HI-Chew sweets and gummy bears. Super soft malts. Excellent late bitterness. Super smasher.

Can bought at Elusive. Aroma is has sweet almonds, tart edged plum, spice and an earthiness. Opaque light brown with a ruby tinge. Thin fizzy off-white head soon almost entirely disappeares. Medium sour throughout. Tart but juicy plum. Some bitterness. There is a peripheral sweetness and nuttiness and to be fair the can only refers to a hint of almond and hazelnut. Relaxed spice. Medium bodied. Slick verging on creamy. Flat carbonation. Long very dry finish. The plum, as indicated by the name, is the key factor in what is not a traditional Dubbel. Although as it warms up the more traditional elements are then more evident. Good stuff.

Can. Gushy fucker! Semi opaque dark chocolate colour beer, small tan head. Light palate, semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Mild dark malts, touches of dark and milk chocolate. A mildly tangy raspberry overrides. Airy semi dry finish. Okay, quite thin, I wanted a richer dark malt base.

Keg @ Assembly, Urmston. Peach-pink with a creamy head. It's more soapy in aroma and taste than sour, behind this there's a very small but crisp stone-fruit fruitiness.
