330ml bottle bought at Barley Wine, Copenhagen. It starts with a fair off-white head that stays for quite a while atop of an unclear, orange coloured body. Sappy citrus to the nose. Taste of oranges and mild pine. Plain dry bitter ending. Soft carbonated. Gives a succulent impression (hotel room, Copenhagen 01.11.2011).

(Bottle, Stockholm Beer Festival, 8 Oct 2011) Amber colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of orange, grapefruit and lots of fresh hops. Malty, fruity taste with caramel, orange peel, grapefruit and generous amounts of citric, piney hops in a bitter finish. Medium to full body, with some sweetness. Nice and tasty IPA with an impressive hop character.

From tap at MikkellerBar. Pours hazy yellow with a huge white and creamy head. Aroma is mild fruity and crisp hoppy. Crisp frity, mellow yeasty, libgering and mild citrusy. Smooth yeasty and fruity finish.

Very hazy golden coloured body with a large (three centimetres tall) tan head with a lot of action. Aroma of grassy, herbal and bready hops with a lot of yeast, malt, sweetness and alcohol. Medium-bodied; Assertive grassy and herbal hops up front with a nice and prolonged bitterness that shows off very well. Aftertaste is still bitter, some alcohol and yeast notes are noticeable and a good dry herbal and grassy finish. Overall, a very well done IPA that shows a lot of potent, grassy and high alpha acidic hops in a great balance. Overall, a nice beer and very enjoyable after completing the 36th Marine Corps Marathon earlier in the day, here at home in Arlington on 30-October-2011. I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 04-September-2011 for US$6.75 sampled at home in Washington on 30-October-2011.

Draught @ Pikkulintu, Helsinki

Pours yellowish orange with a small sticky head. Aroma of exotic fruity hops and malts. Taste is quite fruity and slightly malty. Finish is bitter and hoppy. Nice IPA, but could’ve used a bit more body.7-3-8-4-16 =3.7

Re-rated on 31.3.2012. 355ml bottle @ Drink Baar, Tallinn, Estonia. Much more hoppier and tastier from a fresh bottle. Nice, well balanced and hoppy IPA.

(Draught at Pikkulintu, 20111026) The beer poured amber and quite cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had pine, grass and malts. Palate was medium bodied and dryish with medium carbonation. Flavours were hops, pine, grass, malts, alcohol and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. Quite bitter and bit too thin body for the hop profile. Still ok.

33 cl bottle, rated on 02.04.2011
Fruity aroma with some grapes and resin. Flavour has also grapes and resin with some floral and citrus notes. Both aroma and flavour contain some unpleasant element I am not able to describe better. But a decent IPA anyway.
