Description
Welcome to the Hackney Church Brew Co. We are a new brewpub based in the heart of Hackney, named after the parish church over the road. Like the church, we want to create a welcoming space that everyone can enjoy that gives back to the local community.
We serve our own tasty beers alongside delicious food in our taproom and sunny garden. In our book, that’s beer for all sorts.

Keg at the brewery tap. Pours deep down with a dense, lasting tan cream cap. Tasty, with notes of toasted pine, lime and grapefruit, suggestions of licorice, brown bread. Medium bodied with active carbonation. Well rounded close, more sweet brown bread, nips of pine and rindy citrus. Sound.

Keg St John's. It pours hazy golden with a small white head. The aroma is soft, crisp, green, bit herbal, pine, floury bread, apricot, peach and some chalkiness. The taste is firmly dry, bitter, kind of chalky, green, pine, citrus peel, straw, grass and some sone spice with a drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Decent enough.
