Description
Welcome to the Hackney Church Brew Co. We are a new brewpub based in the heart of Hackney, named after the parish church over the road. Like the church, we want to create a welcoming space that everyone can enjoy that gives back to the local community.

We serve our own tasty beers alongside delicious food in our taproom and sunny garden. In our book, that’s beer for all sorts.

(Cask at Cock Tavern, Hackney, London, 17 July 2026) Golden colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of peaches, bread and mixed fruit. Fruity, malty taste with mixed fruit, peaches, citrus, grass, white bread and a balanced citric/grassy bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Smooth and refreshing, with a good hop presence. Very nice.

Travel layover in Crewe beer. Hazy dank amber coloured, not quite red in terms of colour as the French in its name might suggest. It is a red ale though in taste, with light sweet-berry available in its taste, and quite hoppy, nothing particularly rye here. 76.5676

Draught keg at Tønne, Leicester. Light to mid-brown and cloudy with a small beige head. Slightly muted aroma is giving me chocolate and light wheat grain. Taste is ambrosia, hoppy and bitter with the sweetness of the wheat. A floral flourish in the final sip, very bitter here. Medium body and carbonation. It all hangs together oh so well.
