Keg at the brewery. Pours black with a dense, creamy mocha head - the appearance is immaculate, it must be said. Restrained ashy roast in the nose, cocoa. Medium sweet flavour with mild alcohol boost, some molasses, raisins, bitter cocoa. Medium to full bodied, oily and chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming finish, ample scorched earth bitterness, darkhocolate, dried berries. Not bad on the whole.

Keg at the brewery. Pours cloudy orange with a creamy, off-white head. Meaty hop aroma, pale bread, orange, faint cheese. Medium sweet flavour, a little gooey, some plays, marmalade, pine. Full bodied, lightly chewy, with fine carbonation. Resinous finish, some bitter and oily pine, ripe melon and papaya, pale bread. Not bad.

Keg at the brewery. Pours hazy gold with a tight, creamy white head. Nice aroma, pithy citrus, grapefruit, pale bread. Light sweet flavour, rindy grapefruit, some grassy bitterness, pale grains, mild yeast. Light bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Moderate bitterness, pithy lemon. Decent.
