Bottle bought by mail order in Japan. Medium golden color, clear, with a tall head. Malty biscuit nose with some corn. Flavor is more DMS creamed corn, with sweet esters, stone fruit, citrus, and a strong bitterness. Full body. There is a lot to offer in this beer, but unfortunately the DMS is overwhelming. Would like to try it fresh on tap.

100ml draught, 6.8 % abv, at Hopfen+Malz. Clear golden body. filmy layer, dotted spots on the glass. Pale malty smell, semi-sweet, promising. Honeyed caramel malts to the taste character. Mid-sweet malty ending. Quite fine depth to it. Quite alright (Aachen, 26.02.2026).

Med bod, light carbo. Med bitter, med-light sweet. Quite slick, butter, ample diacetyl. Malt and hops in background, rarher some apples poking out. Definitely not clean, and although it was the last beer from ked, I think it is just ungood.

0.5 l bottle from 'SpeciaalBierPakket.nl', best before February 2025. Clear, golden with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity-floral and a little musty aroma of grains, honey, some straw and light peas. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, slightly musty and a bit floral taste of grains, bread crust, cardboard, some straw and light honey, followed by a short, gently bitter finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Weird brew, becomes more pleasant after a while.

Bottle from De Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Nicely nutty aroma with caramel, brown malt, bread crust, and a touch of powdery cocoa. Moderate to medium sweet, light bitter. Superb Dunkel.

Deeper golden with a firm white head. Malt driven with some grain, honey, mineral, and some toffee. Medium bodied. Finish has a light hop bitterness but covered mostly by a level malt profile. Good bock.

On tap at Brauerei zur Sonne, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma has grassy hops, herbaceous notes, and straw. Flavour has some metallic notes, herbaceous notes, straw and light vegetable bitterness. Clean enough but not particularly vibrant. Okay.
