0.5 l bottle from 'SpeciaalBierPakket.nl', best before February 2025. Clear, golden with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity-floral and a little musty aroma of grains, honey, some straw and light peas. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, slightly musty and a bit floral taste of grains, bread crust, cardboard, some straw and light honey, followed by a short, gently bitter finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Weird brew, becomes more pleasant after a while.

Bottle from De Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Nicely nutty aroma with caramel, brown malt, bread crust, and a touch of powdery cocoa. Moderate to medium sweet, light bitter. Superb Dunkel.

Deeper golden with a firm white head. Malt driven with some grain, honey, mineral, and some toffee. Medium bodied. Finish has a light hop bitterness but covered mostly by a level malt profile. Good bock.

Dorada limpia y brillante de espuma blanca de retención media. Aroma malteado, notas herbales lupuladas. En boca oleosa, alguna nota dulce floral, y contrapunto más seco. Amargor moderado.

On tap at Brauerei zur Sonne, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma has grassy hops, herbaceous notes, and straw. Flavour has some metallic notes, herbaceous notes, straw and light vegetable bitterness. Clean enough but not particularly vibrant. Okay.

On tap at Brauerei zur Sonne, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma has bright herbaceous hops, grass, straw, and biscuity malt. Flavour is herbaceous, with straw, biscuity malt, and a touch of herbaceous notes. Clean but a little too herbal.

50cl Fles, dank Harmen! Ze noemen het zelf een Kellerbier, geen Dunkel. Amber-bruine kleur, vuilwitte kraag. Noten, cacao, hint van erwtjes, licht gebrand, toast, moutig, degelijk bitter. Lichte body. Prima, op locatie zou ik er meerdere van op kunnen.

50cl Fles, dank Harmen! Uit Stein. Moutig, witbrood, hint van appels, licht fruitig, flink bitter, blijft lekker hangen. Lichte body. Lekker, hier lust ik er wel een paar van.
