MAGNUM shared at the Referend 3rd anniversary party. Pours mostly clear gold with a creamy, white head. Soft funk presence, some lemon, a little farmhouse character, lemon candies, nips of white pepper. Light bodied with average carbonation. Pretty clean on the finish, with subtle lemony tartness rounding it out. Good.

Bottle shared by AdamC. Flavor showed me rotten orange, rotten apricot, wheat, and coriander. Mild funky, lightly zesty. Mild hops. After so many various sweet beers this was a refreshing drink. The funky notes where mild. Slightly lingering barnyard.

Bottle, drunk at Burlington Airport from the bottle, as it proved too heavy to go through check in. Don’t know the colour. Nose has super aromatic citrus fruit and flower. Notes of stone fruit. Light, earthy brett. Lots of grapefruit. Smells great. Taste has a soft, juicy bitterness. Some bretty tartness. Lovely mouthfeel. Creamy but clean. Foamy carbonation. Juicy and lightly tart on the finish. Lovely beer. Wish I could have gotten it home, but enjoyed it fully, nevertheless.

Bottle from Chris, thanks: pours hazy pale yellow with quickly dissipating head. Aroma is tea, lemon, flowers, light funkiness. Taste is gentle lemon and herbal teas. Light hints of rye spice. Hints of honey sweetness. Delicate and complex, but also so easy to accidentally drink in one greedy quaff.
