Many thanks to sklezpiwempl for this bottle! Grainy smooth beginning. Nice intense bitterness, round and malty with a nice bitter floral finish with pine and resin. The body is rich, not too sweetish, round and sessionable with depth.

Birthday bottle from Dranken Geers, Oostakker; thanks to Anke & family!
Best before: 28 July 2016.
Pours cloudy black with a thin, beige head. The aroma contains lots of coffee (roast) - very intense in the smell, dark chocolate, roasted malt, faint dark fruits, some smoke & soy sauce. It tastes light sweet, medium roasted bitter and a tad umami. Long, though subtle toasty finish. Medium/light body, slick (almost watery) texture, soft to flat carbonation. Well, it delivers what it promises; could have benefited from a bit more alcohol perhaps.
