L'amaro è contenuto. La forza gustativa è elevata e si prolunga in modo sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. Sul palato si riportano indizi di caramello, miele, frutta secca, pane cotto di recente, un accenno di resinoso, agrumi e frutta passita.

Il tetto della bocca porta note di miele, amaretto, frutta secca, pane cotto di recente, luppolo, resina, pino, agrumi e pompelmo.

La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana media. Il liquido appare cristallino. Il colore è giallo dorato carico. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è intenso. La forza gustativa è elevata e la durata è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano luppolate. Il retrogusto è intenso. Sul palato arrivavano note di miele, crosta di pane, frutta secca, erbaceo, agrumi, ananas, arancia rossa e mandarino.

Draught Huge dense, white head over clear, not very carbonated beer, dark golden. Wafers, faintly peppery malts, just a hint of grass. Fruity flavour, but also an impression of kale or Brussels sprouts. Good maltbacking, but not much maltflavour. Light to medium bodied, very slick, good carbonation. Decent strong pils, if to the sweet side.

Tap at Higgins. Hazy golden body, off-white head, thick. Creamy aroma, some citrus candy. Soft creamy taste, light orange candy and herbal notes, not too much bitterness. Solid beer!

Bottle. Black color with beige head. Aroma is big burnt wood, schnaps, caramel, perhaps an idea of coconut. Taste is chocolate, wood, umami, warming finish. Oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. A bit heavy on the schnaps character, would have expected more Bourbon.
