(Can, 0.44l, thanks VastActiv, at VastActiv, 20240802) The beer poured copper coloured and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts, caramel and earth. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, caramel, earth, biscuits and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. Nice.

Clear dark purple brown beer, creamy dense beige head, a bit irregular, unstable, falls down quickly. Aroma: malty, a gentle roast, some chocolate notes, caramel, a hint of vanilla. MF: ok carbon, full body. Taste: sweet start, good roast, alcohol, a bitter touch, some dark chocolate, a bit sweet, caramel. Aftertaste: sugary, alcohol, lots of chocolate, very pleasant, nice stuff!

Clear dark brown to black beer, creamy slightly irregular beige head, stable, a bit adhesive, leaving some patches of lacing in the glass. Aroma: some chlorine, deep roast, coffee, cocoa powder, nice stuff. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: good roast, coffee, pretty bitter, lots of alcohol, a bit chemical, some chlorine, solvents, very alcoholic. Aftertaste: a bit yeasty, coffee, some dark chocolate, lots of alcohol, good bitterness in the end. Decent beer, but it can’t really compete with the Oak And Mirrors which we had right before, alas...

MF: ok carbon, medium to full body, creamy texture. Taste: soft roast up front, nice chocolate notes, good stuff, malty touch, more alcohol, a little sweet, slightly oxidized, nice stuff going on here! Aftertaste: grains, coffee notes, good bitter roast, whisky, lots of caramel, some vanilla, more dark chocolate, lovely beer, very nice, really love it!
