440ml can. Peaty, smoky and roasty with some licorice, maple syrup and sticky toffee notes. A bit too sticky and syrupy.

Can sample at a tasting at Yoav's place. Murky yellow. Mango, passion fruit, oniony hops, a bit sweetish, a bit sourish, green bitterness.

Smoky and sweet? A tad odd.

Well this is fun! I like smoke, I like maple, but the combination is a new one for me. It works exceptionally well! Smoke adds meatyness, maple sweetness. Nice, roasty body, fairly bitter, good dose of coffee. Weird, complex and yum.

11th June 2019, Shrewsbury Bottle Exchange Group in Chez Sophie. Cheers Simon for the 440ml can of this, our 11.5% ABV night cap. Black bodied brew, wispy tanned head. Peaty little number with a smooth body, far too easy to drink. Very pleasant last drink of the session.

Can @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, June '19. Smoky nose, taste is sweet, smoky with maple, chocolate, dark malt and mirage-like peaty leanings. Smooth easy drinker. A nice end to the night.

Keg at BD Paddington. It pours hazy deep red with a medium pinky - white head. The aroma is fresh, bright, tangy, ripe cherry, sherbert, cranberry, red wine, raspberry, cherryade, cherry drops, oak, light vanilla, funk and some old basement. The taste is dry, tart, tangy, sour cherry, ripe fruits, cherry drops, vinous, red wine, cranberry, funk, basement, red apple, puckering, tannin and oak with a drying finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Nice depth of flavour and red fruit character. Tasty.
