375ml bottle. Opalescent, orange, bright golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Woody, vinous fruity and mildly funky aroma, notes of oak, grapes, some grape sugar, a touch of honey, apricot. Taste is tart-ish, vinous fruity, mildly funky and woody, notes of mustard seed, grapes, some oak, brine, dill, a touch of honey, chamomile, apricot. Slightly oily, watery texture, slightly astringent, minimally dry, simultaneously minimally greasy palate, medium, soft carbonation. Fairly complex, restricted salubriousness - somehow more salad dressing than quaffable beer.

Bottle, 8.1%. Pungent cherry aroma. Deep acetic and funky Brett notes. Muddy deep rep colour. No head. The flavour has a deep cherry note. Nicely acidic with mild funky notes. Sharp acid finish, cuts away the fat cherry notes. High carbonation. Very flavourful, but refreshing and moreish.

Bottle. Pours cloudy cherry red with airy pinkish head. Clear aroma of cherries and wild yeast, with malty touches. Dry and dark sweet flavour of cherries and sour yeast, with mild touches of malt and barrel. Peppery and dry aftertaste with barrellike notes. A very nice BA sour: well-balanced, tasty and refreshing.

Bottle at Appellation Wines, cheers Ash, and cheers to the memory of Tom. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of light funk, white grape and apple. Taste is funky, but clean and bright. Sharp apple sour and white wine, a hint of barnyard, but in a good way. Complex brew.

Can. Murky brown with a broken off white head. Aroma of strong bread, toffee, figs, raisins, pine, lemon peel, mace, pepper. Full bodied but retains a lightness that really makes it. Medium low carbonation. Sweetish but with a combination of bitterness, citrus, spice and spirit it all gets whisked away at the end. Good with outstanding balance and texture.
