Keg at GBBF '18, day 2, 08/08/18. Hazed golden yellow with a decent off white cap. Nose is banana, clove, mixed spice, breads, straw. Taste comprises bread dough, citric peel, light banana bread, clove, toffee. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent hefe.

Keg at GBBF 2018. It pours clear yellow with a small white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, doughy white bread, sponge cake and grass The taste is crisp, dry, grassy, straw, peppery spice, cracker, herbal and doughy white bread with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate, prickly carbonation. Chuggable.

Many thanks to Erzengel for sharing! A clear dark reddish brown beer with a mid-sized most good lasting beige head. Aroma of dark caramelish malt, red malt, raisins. Taste of mid-sweet caramelish malt, dark reddish malt, hints of nuts and raisins. Good!

Bottle from Getränkefeinkost in Leipzig. Smooth malty nose. The beer starts smooth and creamy. Not much bitterness, easy to drink with soft malty caramel. Very smooth and soft, round and refreshing with an intense malty caramelly ending. Very smooth, soft malts, no bitterness, very dry. Interesting and great brew.

“Vierzehnheiligener Bier Nothelfer Fastenbock“, Flasche (50 cl) von Hopfen & Malz, Berlin-Wedding. - Tiefstes Kastanienbraun, klar; der sahnige Schaum hinterläßt schöne Ringe. - In der Nase gediegenes dunkles Malz mit feinen Röstnoten, zarte Bitterschokolade, hintergründige hopfenwürzige Herbe. - Antrunk füllig aber elegant dunkelmalzig mit feiner trockener Kakaonote und milder, hintergründiger krautiger Herbe. Eine zarte fruchtige Säure stört nicht, eine zart seifige Note schon eher. Mild rezent, vollmundig aber nicht breit. Im Abgang schwache Mokkabittere und milde krautige Hopfenherbe. - Elegant dunkelmalziger, schlanker und zurückhaltender Bock; ein aufschlußreicher Kontrast zu dem vorher verkosteten Animator von Hacker-Pschorr, der als Münchner Bier malzbreit und derb gehopft daherkommt, wohingegen dieser fränkische Doppelbock leise und fast vergrübelt wirkt.

Bottle from Cask Craft Pimlico as Wieninger Teisendorfer Hell . Drunk on slowest train ever from Victoria to Ashford. Clear gold lasting white head. Malty golden beer. So maltier than you would expect a hell or pilsner. So more a landbier i guess. Quite peppery hoppy on the finish. Anyway made me happy to have a Franconian beer. Some yeast on aroma.

500ml Bottle - Golden with a small head. Strawberries, grass and grain in the aroma. Sherbet lemons, grapefruit peel, grain and bubblegum all feature in the slightly sweet taste.
