Draught at the brewpub. Black coloured, medium sized creamy head, light coffee and fruity nose. Roasted malt, coffee and very dry taste with touch of smoke in the finish. Smooth and easy going stout.

Draught at the brewpub. Hazy golden coloured, lively carbonation, light chili nose. Starts sweet and after few seconds there’s sharp chili taste. Quite dry. Pleasant (Marko and Maja wouldn’t say that) and long lasting prickly chili aftertaste. Nice beer.

Draught at the brewpub, like all of these shared with ogivlado and Maja (thanks for this one!). Špired a murky dark brown body with a small tan head. The nose is superb... Apricot jam, prosecco like notes of alcohol, lovely sweet maltiness, some coffee, way better than expected. The taste was a slight letdown after this but it’s still a very good beer. A light, yoghurty and fruity taste, maltiness, notes of apricot and blueberry, lightly acidic finish, light chocolate, low hopiness leaving a light aftertaste. Very, very interesting beer, really something special, but I can’t shake the feeling that something’s missing.

Draught at the brewpub, shared with ogivlado (and Maja). Poured a hazy light golden body with a persistant white head. Light grainy, slightly yoghurty nose. The teaste is pleasant. A sweet, fruity maltiness going a bit grainy near the end. Low but fine hopiness (watermelon?). A tasty Zwickl and that doesn’t deviate much from the brewery’s high standard.

Draught at the brewpub, 12°, 4.9%, like all of these shared with ogivlado and Maja. Poured a hazy gold body with a fliffy thick white head that went away slowly. Slightly yoghurty nose with chili. The taste is light, fine, with a green chili pepper taste going into a long prickly aftertaste. I normally don’t like chilli beers but this one manages to avoid being offensive for me and probably the one I liked the most so far.

Forstner Rotes Bier, draught at the brewpub. 12.8°, 5.4%. Poured a reddish-brown bodywith a medium/small off white head. Dusty, eggy grainy nose with some hop, but not unpleasant. The taste is pleasant, light, aromatic and grainy, some hopiness leaving notes of orange. Well balanced and drinkable.

Draught at the brewpub as Forstner Stout (Black Beer), 13.8°, 5.4%. Poured a black body (brown near the bottom), with a thick tan-brown head. Sweet malty nose, coffee and some fruitiness. A smooth, bitter coffeeish taste, dry, going, sliding on some light acidity a bit fast into a loooong bitter aftertaste.Very drinkable... actually thought it was a really good dry stout. Whatever it is, it’s a very good beer, which seems to be the case with most beers from this brewery.

03/01 0.33 l bottle at Dombrau as Forstner biere Styrian ale. Poured darker brown body with medium brownish head going down pretty smoothly. Yeasty aroma, quite empty with just some notes of caramel. On the other side flavor was very nice, much belgian ale charactered, sweetish caramel, chestnut and bit of cappuccino. Full bodied. Finish is long and follows the flavor, fruity with some herbal additions showed up now makes it very nice. Enjoyed this a lot.

As Forstner Biere Bio Weisse.
Yellow to golden coloured, huge white head, lively carbonation. Cinnamon and clove nose. Aroma is wheaty and light fruity (banana) with slight sweet but too artificial corn notes. Quite weak but refreshing.
