Bottle from beer advent calendar 14/24 I didn't know there is a brewery in Gols, that's actually not that far for tasting. The beer itself well represents the crate and is...average. Okay, bit above. New thing here is bit of metal taste. But it's quite drinkable beer.

Dieses Pale Ale ist verfeinert mit Eberraute und Zitronentymian. Das merkt man vor allem im Abgang. Schmeckt das Bier im EInstieg noch klar nach Hopfen und im Mittelteil nach Malz, so kommt hinten raus der Geschmack nach allerlei Grünzeug (wie schon der Name sagt). Geschmack nach Zitronenmelisse und Brennessel gesellen sich zu den anderen beiden hinzu. Auch wenn diese Aromen viel zu hart kommen und besser eingebunden sein sollten, kommt ein interessantes Bier heraus, das ganz und gar untypisch ist.

0.33l bottle. Malty aroma. Hazy yellow color, white head. Malty taste, bready notes, light to medium bitter. Light to medium body, slick texture, average carbonation and malty bitter finish. Ok.

Bottle. Hazy golden color with creamy white head. Aroma is yoghurt, wheat, vanilla, bread. Taste is vanilla, yoghurt, wheat, some fresh yeast. Silky mouthfeel, rather high carbonation. Quite nice!

Many thanks to Erzengel for sharing! A slightly hazy golden beer with a small white head. Aroma of strong herbal malt, herbal fruits, belgian yeast. Taste of tart yellow fruits, belgian yeast, herbal hops.

Smooth and fresh nose. The beer starts highly carbonated with a very soft body. Hints of sourness in the back, the body is full-flavoured, smooth grainy but not too deep. Sessionable fresh stuff.

Das Weizen der kleinen Brauerei vom Neusiedler See ist weniger fruchtig als ich es von einem Weißbier erwarten würde, dafür ist es weitaus hopfiger. Ob das schlecht ist, wage ich nicht zu sagen; es macht dass Bier auf jeden Fall einzigartig und speziell.

Bottle thnx to Stefan ! Pours unclear, hazy yellowblonde, small white head.Smell is intense white bread-maltyness, wheat - obviously -is there as well. some german style yeast, rich in esthers ( banana ) that builds up and overtakes the malty aspects very quickly. Taste has moderate bitterness, crispy, wheat-intense grains. Mild esthers ( by far not as much as expected after the scent ) rather creamy MF. very nice balance. Ok carbonation as well. Not my favorite style, but a very nice example of the style, and a good drinkin’ beer.
