Served from a Steinkrug. Aroma is juicy malts. Taste is juicy malts, flowery hops. Taste is the same, perfectly balanced between buttery moreishness, juicy malts. Natural carbonation. Very nice! Great Lager.

Tap. Amber color with white head. Aroma is slightly smoked. Taste is the same, with a nice smoked juicy malts feeling. Low carbonation, very nice! As the brewmaster says, between Schlenkerla and Spezial. This one is a very nice Smoked!

at a tasting, many thanks, very little head, clear light brown color, aroma of smoked meat with some charred notes, smoked meat flavor with charred wood and caramel, Mellow and highly enjoyable.

Bottle: (ottos mops hopst fort): Clear, just deep golden - not very Dunkel - loose and slowly collapsing off-white head; sweetish nutty nose, shy traces of hops underneath, some "metal" as well; mild sweetish flavour with traces of a faint and tart bitterness; light to medium bodied; gets drier and more tart in the short bitter and sweet finish. Not the best Dunkel...

On tap @Ma che siete venuti a fà (Rome). Pours amber with a big white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, smoked meat, chimney. Flavour is medium sweet with smoked notes and a decent bitter end. Medium body, medium to light carbonation. Fantastic!

Flavour is delicate smoke, malt, low sweet leading to a bitter end, a bit watery, easy to drink and fresh, amazing! Light body, medium carbonation. Amazing brew!

Cask@HBF2016. Yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is herbal, wooden, some mild bready malts as well as some hay. Flavour is grassy, sweet malty, wooden, some herbs and mild grains to it.

Hazy orange color with white head. Aroma is bananas, wheat, yeasty, and phenolic esters. Taste is bubblegum, milky yeasts, mineralic, dusty. Watery-milky mouthfeel. Quite dull to be honest.
