Pours brown from the bottle. The crown is foamy and fleeting. Aroma is pungent overripe banana, old shoe, dash of french mustard. Taste is oatmeal sweet, lots of banana, and ends with a touch of spice and a very mild bitterness. Body is medium with mild carbonation. This one can certainly be called interesting. More like a cross between an Abbey Dubbel and a Dunkelweizen than any sort of stout.

Hefiger, stark hellmalziger Antrunk. Süß-bitterer Mittelteil, Noten von Alkohol, geringe Karbonisierung. Steigende Würzigkeit, hell würzig bleibend. Nicht unbedingt süffig, dennoch gelungen. 9/8/9/8/9/9

Bottle 500ml (Timo A’s Fliptop tasting). Chestnut clear colour, small beige head. Nutty, toffeish, grassy aroma. Light to medium-bodied. Very toffeish flavour, nutty, very sweet dunkel. Clean but sweet.

Aroma is rather nice with chocolate and some bready malt. Flavour has chocolate, some nuts and some malt. Also toffee that grows stronger towards the end of the glass. Easy to drink and nice.
