Bottle shared at home, courtesy of Koelschtrinker, thanks a lot! Pours opaque golden with a thin white head. Nose is intersting, but pretty pleasant dessert-like, there's honey, and a fruity character that's quite hard to put my hands on. Maybe apple? But not as in acetaldehyde, more like in an apple pie. Anyway, the taste follows, showing honey, hay and bready malts. Closes with a sweetish finish, has a medium body and soft carbonation. Interesting stuff but I actually liked it.

Bottle. Ambery brown colour with a mediumsized off-white foamy head. Aroma is nutty, mild toasted malts, grass and some toffee to it. Flavour is toffee, some nutty and mild toasted tones to it. A bit not-too-sweet dried fruitiness in there as well.

Bottled. Slightly hazy yellowish golden colour with a mediumsized foamy white head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is grainy, some herbal tones with mild hay and honey too. Flavour is grassy, grainy, herbal, some mild honeyish tones with mild green apple skins too.

Bottle, no idea from where at this point. Quite dark with a light brown head. Nose is pretty mild for an imperial Stout? Bit of roasty malt notes. Pretty sweet, not too complex, a bit of bready aftertaste and could use some more hops. Wee hint of nutty taste. Overall a bit too thin for such a high % imperial.

24-04-21 // 500ml bottle. Fußballbier. Not very sweet banana forward. Even a bit light bodied and not so heavy. Mild cloves. And a tangy note.

Amber with a frothy white head that lingers. Hazy with visible floaters. Caramel to toffee aroma with citrus undertones. Taste is bittersweet with the sweetness winning out up front. A light warmth at the end but a touch of booze does drift through. Nice chewiness. This is one of those malt-forward IPAs done in the style that I’ve grown to like so much. Not among the best of them but still nice.
