Bottle - Sweet hops aroma. Reddish brown color with light tan head - a very pretty beer. Mild to moderate hops flavor with only light sweetness. Full body.

(Can) = Fairly strong cherry/berry aroma. Amber color as you can see. Sweet malt and hops flavor - slight bitterness and berry aroma is much subtler with the taste.

Clear nut brown, mahogany. Perfect off-white creamy and steady head. Mild aroma, a bit soapy, weak coffee. Light to medium bodied, smooth mouthfeel. Not much roast - watery. Quite similar to Kilkenny but thinner and weaker mouthfeel. (3/4/6/4/10 2.7)

Nut brown, flowery nose. Light-bodied but a good amount of flowery Goldings hops is present. Totally different than in my first sample - it was Irish Ale, this was more like a bitter. (6/3/6/3/12 3.0)

Dark copper, beautiful creamy head. Not much aroma, slightly hoppy. Very smooth hoppy palate. Caramel tones and some bitterness in the finish. Much better than "light" version.

Sampled cask conditioned at Oliver Twist, Stockholm.
Dark amber. Aroma of melon and cucumber left in the fridge for weeks. Medium sweet with estery, tea-like hoppiness and light, sparkling mouthfeel. Notes of strawberry jelly as well. Watery finish with low bitterness. An odd bird.

Got a bottle at the cafe in the Tower of London. Brown color with a thin beige head. Little lacing to be had. Very sweet aroma of malt, along with a hint of sourness. Medium body with an odd flavoring. It is mostly sweet caramel malt, with an underlying sour fruit and smoke character. The finish is on the thin side. Overall this beer is lacking in many areas but it is not terrible.

[Cask at Cockney Pub, Århus] An amber beer with a beutiful head. The aroma is very faint of malt. The flavor is lovely hoppy with notes of roasted malts. A lovely beer.
