An orange beer with a small but fast diappearing head. The aroma is very slight with notes of fruit. The flavor is flat and casky - but then it turns slightly sweet with notes of raspberries, other berries, and fruit, before it turns bitter with a cask flatness to go with it. But what lingers on the tongue is a nice fruity bitterness.

An amber beer with an OK head, though fast diappearing. The aroma is a light fruity. The flavor is dominated by bitterness with some sweetness - good balance. With notes of malt and caramel.

[The new version] An amber beer with a great head. The aroma is very faint malty. The flavor is malty sweet with hints of smoke and nuts. A fine beer - but not outstanding.

An orange beer with no head. The aroma is slight with notes of orange. The flavor is a bit flat - as cask conditioned ales sometimes are. The flavor has hints of orange, a slight sweetness and ending on a really good bitterness. A fine beer - but not great.

Bottled. Nut brown with rich head. Citrusy hop aroma. Medium dry and pleasantly malty with resiny hoppy finsih. Perhaps not overly complex, but elegant & tasty when fresh.

Bottled. Nut brown. Vague orangey nose. Sweet and flowery with light body and syrupy mouthfeel. Notes of honey in the sticky sweet finish with very little hop presence. A one-dimensional ale seemingly inspired by cheap malt liquor.
