As usual it is a nice stout, solid roasted malt, coffee, cacao, hop, we could say that it is a dry stout, just a pleasure, 11.04.17, at Prélaz, purchased at one coop, Prilly.

Cask at the Hastings Arms, Hastings on 6th April 2026. Clear amber with shallow white foam and scant lacing. Caramel malt and citrus, joined by tropical fruits and a fruity finish. Smooth mouthfeel and a light body.

Pint in the Letchworth Spoons. I mean, at that price you can't argue. A fairly drab pale ale, some malt and hops but not a whole lot going on.

On tap at The Vine Tenterden. Cola colour dark brown colour lasting beige head. Creamy stout aroma and flavour. Some dryness on the finish. OK enough nitro stout. Not Guinness but ok

Cask handpull at The Vine Tenterden. Clear gold colour lasting white head. Some citrus flavours. Some sharp citrus fruit. Light ale yeast esters. Its ok. A decent citrus cask session ale. Moderate to building bitterness on the finish. Decent.

On cask up the White Lady.
Appearance - clear, pale yellow and bright. Thin off white head.
Nose - floral, lemon and grapefruit.
Taste - sweeter lemon, maybe lemon curd and going into pineapple.
Palate - light to medium bodied, sweetish middle but some dryness on the finish.
Overall - pretty good cask.

Cask up the White Lady. Pours clear pale yellow gold with a thin white head. Aromas of light tropical fruit and grapefruit. Taste is more of the same. Light sweet biscuit finish.
