Very, very sweet, but not a whole lot of pine or citrus or dank notes to offset the sweetness. Orange and tropical fruit and bubblegum but growing cloy as it warms. Unbalanced, but not undrinkable.

Draught @ Hopleaf, Chicago IL (June 2026). Clear beet red with a large foamy pinkish head, very faint beet aroma, adequate carbonation, medium bitter taste with light beet flavor, pine in the background, thin body, long bitterish finish. Interesting brew, beet goes well with the hoppiness.

16oz can from Tavour. Dark brown, opaque pour, head fades fast. Aroma brings the expected banana notes of a weizen. Strong banana in the taste too, minor roasty, chocolate flavors too. Mild sweetness too.

Can from Tavour. Pours clear bright gold with a moderate white head. Aroma of pale/bready malt with some yeast and citrus. Med body at least. Dry, lightly sweet but there's certainly enough bitter to balance. Flavor of bready pale malt, citrus and some yeast and/or grass/spice. Don't really get rice, so I guess the heirloom is more flavorful than the plain stuff.

Kinda ticks all the boxes for why this style is not my cup of tea: overhopped, astringent, sweet, and weirs chemical flavor that makes the back end taste like how OFF! bug spray smells. Just not my thing.

Can from Tavour. Pours clear bright gold with a moderate white head. Aroma is bready with a little floral hop. Med body. Fairly dry despite the malty/breadiness. Enough bitter, and not taking much, to balance. Hops seem to be lightly grassy/spicy. No long thinking floral. It's light overall, but quite refreshing.

Too sweet for my blood. Quick burst of mango and peach, then quickly devolves into marshmallow fluff and lemon candy and creamsicle. Grows astringent as it warms but stays sweet. Not for me.

16 oz can.
Aroma is rich honey malt with soft floral hints. Flavor has wonderful layers of rich, honey and bread like malt. Mild notes of dried apple. Subtle mineral hints with a nicely crisp texture. Very mild bitterness. Excellent overall balance.
Super clean and refreshing quality. Finely put together lager!
