Can from Tavour. Pours clear gold with a moderate white head. Aroma of citrus and peppery spice. Med body or so. Flavor seems to be citrus with a touch of kumquat and a light spice like white pepper. Very dry. Nicely bitter.

Excellent Black IPA from the flower kids at Fonta Flora. Dark roasty notes of coffee and chocolate mixed with classic West Coast IPA citrus and pine. Finishes with a nice mix of dark beer maltiness and bitter hops. Tasty.

Big, ugly, murky, and undercarbonated, but still decent. Big juicy notes of melon and mango and creamsicle, with a pine backbone and lingering vanilla sweetness. A better example of a style I grow more tired of everyday.

750ml @ Phill's shared with Farees, Josh, and Ryan.
Aroma: cinnamon, bold, some sweetness.
Taste: along the same lines, quite a lot of cinnamon, smooth, balanced.
Overall: nice one for those who like cinnamon stouts.

Dark brown No head. Oh wow, the cinnamon and apple brandy is all over the aroma. On the palate, it's got a soft dark malt base, with light apple brandy, again lots of cinnamon. Has some of this faded? It seems almost balanced. A good sweet sugar note here. Good richness here, solid barrels and adjuncts, it's got a fair bit of complexity.

750 ml bottle dated July 2024. Aroma is bold pistachio light vanilla. Even after all this time, booze is forward here. Still shows pistachios and vanilla. Just a stronger bourbon character. Good.

Delicious brown ale, with tasty notes of cocoa, toasted pumpernickel, cascara, apple, and chestnuts, with a gentle nutty bitterness on the back end. Excellent brown ale.

Single from Appalachian, $5.22, feels pricey. Mojito glass at home.

Pale orange hazy, thin head.
Veggie, tropical, green strawberry, funky papaya/pear sweet nose.
Super soapy, no joke. Hyper grapefruit, apple hooka, pie spice, thick coating, veggie bitterness. The nasty soapiness dies down in scale as it warms, but how did no one notice this cold? Low onion thankfully.
ABV warmth, nice acidity, slurry, very bright.

Decent.
