12oz can from Appalachian. Goblet @home. Soft head, lingering oatmeal lace, cola on black color. Malt, brown sugar, red wine acidity. Smoke, burnt sugar, marshmallow, white bread, very faint smoke, too sweet. Bourbon-y, yeasty, low carb, slick, boozy as hell. Not my idea of a baltic porter.

Keg (may have been a bottle) at CW Family & Friends, Session 2 @Manchester Central, 22/02/20. Hazed orange with an off white cap. Nose is funk, damp wood, sharp citric zest, wood must, apricot, stoned fruits, light acidic nostril tickle. Taste comprises funk, dry rot, tangy citric shreds, lemon rind, herb, wood must, green berry must. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a rising acidic spike. Decent full on sour.

Undated bottle drunk 6/27/22. Lightly hazy, drab brass-golden. Small, white head. Moderate-to-low retention. Very tart nose with light acetic next to lots of lactic acid. Finally softening with sweet, nutty, lightly tart sorghum and light corn notes. Hints of vanilla and strong fruit ester with no alcohol or flaw. Big burst of acetic and lactic acidity up front, softening from massively softly textured sorghum and corn with lightly-to-moderately sweet sugars and the tell tale tart cherry of the sorghum. Really interesting beer and it's nice to see all of these different grains. Not sure it need the cane juice though, as it's pushing it on the sweetness. Or maybe just needed stronger attenuation all around. Still, interesting and drinkable with tons of flavor and complexity.

Can from While Paycheck. Pint glass @home. Marshmallow cocoa head. Dusty, darker & fuller than cola, but maybe less than a stout. Cocoa powder nose. A melted tiramisu sort of smell. Nutty, sweet wood, no bbq, cocoa powder, cola, boiled peanuts. Dusty, low carbonation, semisweet, really smooth, indifferent booze. Slightly too sweet, but really liked it.

16oz can from Tavour. Dried mustard colored pour, one finger creamy white head, sediment. Zesty, citrus peel aroma, grapefruit. Taste amps up the citrus zest to an almost burn, quite sharp and felt in the esophagus. Citrusy flavors, light floral notes. Creamy.
