355ml clear bottle into pint glass. From BWS, Glen Innes. Another 'random foreign beer brewed for Pinnacle' entry. One of the palest beers I've ever seen, it's slightly yellow with swirls of tiny bubbles and a solid head of white foam. Patchy lacing. Slight aroma of bubblegum and caramel. Medium body, smooth mouthfeel. Easy drinking, sweet and malty. Finish is lingering tin with a hint of vegetal matter. Exactly what you would expect from a Central American lager, a bit more flavour than its Mexican cousins.

Dan’s. Another pretend brand - I wonder who goes back for more of half-Aassed stuff like this. Ancient Norse philosophy, huh. Can. Very pale orange w a fading white head despite lots of fizz. Aroma of not much hay and a little grass. Watery with a bit of bitterness standing out at the end because there’s not much else to it.

330ml can into pint glass. From BWS, Glen Innes. Another strange entry in the 'foreign brewed Pinnacle supermarket beers' category. This time it's Norway. I bought a six pack and every can has been a gusher, even two days later! Hence the pint glass.
Pours a very pale amber with a huge head of sticky froth and streams of tiny bubbles. Nose is sour with hints of cornflakes and tin. Nice body, easy drinking. Finish is grainy and metallic, very much like a Pils. Basically a bog standard euro-lager. Not quite sure where the ancient Norse philosophy fits into this but marketing meetings, hey?

375ml can into schooner. From BWS, Glen Innes. Looks great, slightly cloudy golden amber with high fine carbonation and a full head of white foam. Laces well. Nice nose of tropical fruit and caramel malt. Light body, slight fizz. Lingering finish has notes of bitter orange and cashews. Quite good, balance is OK. Pleasant and drinkable. Just needs a bit more body, a bit of 'oomph'!

375ml can into glass. From BWS, Narrabri. Pours cloudy amber with zero carbonation. Large foamy white head. Nose is nutty, floral (lavender?), basically a delight after a month of nothing but ultra-macro's. Taste is bitter and woody. Body is nice and viscous. Finish is lingering sweet with balancing bitterness. A real pleasure.
