Small bottle, looks good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts mild, almost a bit washy. Mild-dry notes, malty, a bit soapy-moldy. Finish thin. Drinkable, but nothing special.

Bottle 90/150. Looks really good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts strong, intense malty-yeasty, light alcoholic. Light fruity notes of apricot. Quite okay but not worth 10 euro a bottle.

"Hütt Luxus Pils", Flasche von einer Tankstelle bei Kassel, 26.1.2014. - Strohgelb, blank, kaum Schaum. - In der Nase eher unangenehm säuerliche, enge Billigpilsaromen. Laut Etikett wurde hier eine "Hopfenkomposition aus den Sorten Tettnanger Perle und Herkules" verwendet. Der Antrunk ist herb zitrusfruchtig (Pampelmusenschale). Schlanker Körper, hartes Mundgefühl und ein ganz enges Geschmacksprofil: Malz ist kaum zu erschmecken; der säuerliche Antrunk geht direkt über in eine strenge Hopfenherbe ohne bessere Hopfenaromen. Langer, bitterer Nachtrunk. - Dieser "nordhessisch herbe Pilsgenuß" ist arg derb geraten - mehr Herkules als Tettnanger. Trinkbar, aber kein großer Genuß.
Eine zweite Begegnung mit diesem jetzt in "Lux Klassik Pils" umgetauften Bier (Flasche von Ratio, Baunatal, 17.12.2025) ergab ein erfreulicheres Bild: zwar immer noch arg schmalspurig im Malz und hart im Mund aber von solider (wenn auch nicht "edler") Hopfenherbe, ohne billige Züge und angenehm trocken. Durchaus trinkbar.
