trade with kimjohansen a long time ago. bbf 5 jul 2010, tasted 17-jul-2011. clear brown, small smooth offwhite head. fluffy and lacing. pretty strange. aroma is slightly dusty, somewhat oxidized, cola like aroma, sweet malts, flavor is brown sugary sweet, malty, cola, faint citus, faint hoppy. aftertaste is bitter cola. Not sure why, but this diesel tastes a bit worse than many other i’ve tried. cardboard beer and too sweet cola.

Hefig-süßer und etwas muffiger Antrunk. Dabei wird das Bier zum Mittelteil herber während die anderen Aromen abflachen. Die Verhältnisse bleiben auch weiter bestehen, mildern sich im Abgang aber erneut ab. Wenig spritzig. Ok. 9/6/7/7/7/7

22/01 0.33 l bottle courtesy of ogivlado, thanks for sharing! It poured lighter golden body with no head at all! Grainy and slightly lemony aroma. Slightly buttery and flowery flavor, mostly malty only with a little bit of herbal to lemony hops. Quite boring, although nothing wrong in it. Thinner bodied, with shorter, slightly bitter herbal and eggy finish. Weak and uninteresting. This was Kolsch? Nice to know...blah.

Bottled 330ml. -Pale golden coloured, almost no head, dry dusty nose. Malty, bready and slight herbal with faint fruity notes. Touch of honey in rather dry finish. Let’s say (below) average beer.

Bottle courtesy of ogivlado who shared it with heavy and me. Poured a yellow-golden body with a white head. Light eggy lemony and yeasty nose. Empty sweetish but dry taste, vague (something), pleasant lemony notes and cardboard. The notes end with a "LOL", guess I didn’t like it much..

Bottle. A clear, yellowish golden beer with a small, white head. Lemon and some beer on the nose, more lemony than lime-like. Lemony flavor too, with a decent beer taste. Medium body. Some bitterness in the finish. A quite decent one. 100815

Bottle: Clear, golden, small white foamy layer; sweetish grainy-strawy nose with a subtle fruitiness underneath; light to moderate sweetish-sourish flavour, light to medium bodied, soft; sourish traces in the sweetish-bitter finish. Bottled Kölsch sucks......

Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Slightly hazy ambery brown colour, mediumsized foamy beige head. Aroma is toasted malts, some toffee, mild fudge, wheat and some slight yeastyness. Flavour is toffee, wheat, some mild toasted malts, banana as well as some yeastyness. Very smooth carbonation. A Dunkelweizen perfect for my taste.

Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is banana, some wheat, mild hoppyness as well as some slight salty notes. Flavour is being quite much the same, but quite much sweeter than the aroma was showing. Perfect beer with a brunch. (points given are without the brunchbonus though).
