(bottle) Hazy, copper brown colour with a big and bright beige foamy head. Moderately sweet and slightly yeasty toast-malty aroma with caramel, subtle notes of dried fruits and a tinge of nettle-like hops. Moderately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Quite dry toasty-malty and subtle fruity taste with notes of caramel, leading into a moderately dry and bitter-sweet finish. Once again another fine and well-rounded brew from Stierberg. 17.III.10

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, pale golden colour with a big and loose foamy white head. Intensively fruity aroma of citrus, tangerine and grape fruit on a moderately sweet pale malty background. Slightly sweet and bitter flavour, quite light bodied but not watery with a very calm and smooth carbonation. Pale malt character with fruity and herbal hoppy accents, leading into a dry and moderately bitter hoppy finish. An aromatic and soft Pilsener. 17.II.10

(bottle, with greetings to Jonas !) Slightly hazy, amber colour with a huge and slightly beige foamy head. Moderately sweet caramel-malty aroma with a distinctively nutty touch, a tinge of draff and shy herbal hoppy notes. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, almost medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Cara-malty and slightly nutty taste with noticeable unfermented wort; sweet-bitter, malt-accented and slightly herbal hoppy finish. A solid, but unspectacular Festbier. 10.II.10

Bottle (donated by joss!) Clear, greenish-golden coloured, mid-sized white creamy head; distinctive fresh citrussy hops in the nose, accompanied by buttery malt; very soft, light bodied, light to moderate bitter-sweet flavour; softly lingering noble hops in the pale-malty and bitter finish. A very good, well hidden, gem.......

bottle, kindly delivered by joss - vielen Dank! Clear deep golden colour with a mid-sized, creamy white head. Malty nose. Medium- to full-bodied, intensively malty with lovely hoppy accents, rather floral with tiny shy hints of of citrus fruit. Well-balanced, smooth and velvety on the palate. A lovely beer from a reliable brewery.

bottle, donated by joss - Danke! Clear yellow colour with a large and ceramy white head. Hoppynose. Solid malty background with lots of aromatic hops that add a slighly floral, but mainly aromatically herbal touch. Dry mouthfeel, slightly bitter -sweet in the lingering finish. A delicious example of the style.
