Bottled, from somewhere in Mexico City. Black, small head. Mezcal dominates the nose. Bone dry with surprisingly slender body and clean mouthfeel. Licorice and mezcal. Medium bitterness. Mild peppery alcohol. Rather sharp, not complex, still interesting.

Not as bad as some of the ratings for sure. Leather, light smoke and some florals. Pours dark maroon with decent head. Tangy finish. Tap at Utopia.

Bottle, many thanks hawanna! Darkest brown color with beige head. Aroma is chocolate, tobacco, intense aroma. Taste is chocolate, tobacco, slightly chili, a bit metallic. Silky mouthfeel with high carbonation.

33cl pours a dark orange with some thin white head. Nose is vinous, lemon, lime, green grape, some grass, prickly pear, some corn lurking. Flavor has more pear and more candy or corn syrup, lime, green grape jolly rancher. Off dry finish. 7 3 6 3 12

33cl bottle pours a viscous, leggy black with a ring of oily beige head. Malt and molasses on the nose, some raisin and some chile, cola. Flavor has molasses, cola, raisin, with pencil lead and licorice. Finishes full bodied and prickly. 8 3 8 3 14

Het is wat raar om mezcal in een IPA te doen, maar niks mis met experiment. Had wel wat subtieler gemogen. 9% maakt m vooral erg lomp.

50cl bottle pour a dark black with ecru head. Nose is gross, booze, nail polish, paint. Flavor has black pepper, molasses, booze and paint. Full bodied finish. Woof.
