75cl bottle shared with Eric in Eecke during the famous covid lockdown of 2020. Pours a lightly misty gold with typically huge white head. Big floral fruity nose with that familiar Hommelbier hop notes. Taste continues with a noticeably fruitier hop profile than usual, pine, lime, freshly-cut grass coming through alongside some nice floral shades. Pleasant bitterness. Good year this.

Bottle from Belgiuminabox, Antwerp. Mahogany coloured pour with a beige head. Red apple, sweet malt, red fruits in the aroma. Taste is sweet malt, jammy red fruits. Sweet malty mouthfeel. Quite tart in the close.

Large foamy head left a froth on a hazy dark golden body. Yeast & outdoor aroma. Medium bodied, light carbonation & a clean back. Belgian yeast, hints of Brett, pithy, hoppy & lemon tastes with a long tangy finish.

Murky brown to auburn pour with a thinnish head. Aroma of cherries and something like slightly off tangerines. Spices and licorice provide a nice accompaniment. Taste is mildly tart up front, full of cherries, turns immediately sweeter though, full of licorice. Overall, nice balance of sweet, tart and spice. Medium bodied, mild carbonation. I was skeptical at first but this settled into being a nice one.

330ml bottle. Poured a slightly hazy golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is Belgian yeast, mineral, sweet fruits. The flavour is moderate sweet, light bitter, with a crisp, fruity, mineral, earthy, fake sugar palate. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Nice, but a little too sweet for me.
