I'm pretty sure this is my first ever Piquette! Pours clear, darker amberreddish. Small white head fades instantly. Scent is very wine-like, earthy profile of grapes, very fruity, but also didn't loose the honey. Fairly intense, sweet honey funk. It blends together particularly well ! fairly intense combination as well, co2 meets the nose ( I know that sounds strange, but trust me) like a very aromatic (attypical aroma's though!) sparkling wine. interesting, and I could sniff this all night - concentrate on grapes and it's basically a wine. Concentrate on the honey, and it's basically a mead.
Taste is dry, mild on tannins. Very earthy, strawberry, raw cherrie profile. 'Aromatic ' CO2. dry, for sure not sweet, but not aggressively drying, not that tannic either. Honey profile is still recognizable, but takes a bit of a backseat compared to the grapes, as far as the flavour goes.
As sad as it is, this is not my personal preference, which is why i'm so surprised by how well I have to admit it does work.

Sample from a shared bottle. not as sweet as I expected, blueberry, qs well as blue in color. I can taste and smell the peanut butter.

Very sweet, lots of vanilla. the maple syrup is prominent and it would be better without the maple.
