Can (looks like 6/13/24 but hard to tell dot matrix) from Total Wine & More, Burlington. Deeply hazy orange-yellow with tons of sparkle, nice head with excellent retention and light lacing. Aroma is guava, melon and citrus, as advertised. Taste is strong citrus, guava and biscuit. Smooth, frothy texture, average carbonation and dry, moderately bitter finish. Aroma bests taste. Would have liked a little less bitterness.

Pours hazy gold into a tulip. Bright white head with excellent retention recedes leaving spot lacing. Mango, apricot and caramel aromas. Sweet with summer berry, white smarties and melon upfront turning to pith and pine in the earthy, lasting finish.

Broadway draught, 7/30/24. Cloudy mauve-cranberry. No head. Huge red wine character easily outdoing both the tangerine and plum. Moderate acetic and lactic acidity, low Brett and moderate oakiness. Strong, puckering acetic character with strong red wine and strong oak. Lingering balsamic suggestions. Malty and dry, but I don't get any fruit. Guess it's drowned out by the acetic character...even granting this is a Flemish Red base, I still think it's too unbalanced.

Broadway draught, 7/30/24. Clear brass. Small, white head. Bright, zesty, lime-accented white grape with unripe guava and light fruit punch. Clean. Low maltiness. Cracker and biscuit with ample depth and good attenuation pave the way for a prominent Motueka character with lots of lime-forward fruit punch. Zesty, crisp on the end with crackery dryness. Clean, not too bitter. Maybe a hint too much lime character from the Mo.

Broadway draught, 7/30/24. Gently hazy, bright raspberry-cranberry. Small, pinkish-tinged head. Quickly to ring. Floral and light vegetal cactus with biscuity, nutty wheat behind it. Tasteful, bright, aromatic. Very light, dry, effervescent with immense wheat textures and very little base malt substance. But the higher carbonation and chewy wheat helps add perceived body. Floral, fruity, zesty, bright cactus done tastefully and complementing the beer character.

Broadway draught, 7/30/24. Ugly, hazy-beige-tan. No head. Bit of funk/must. Crackery malts, light white pepper and sweat. Bit of unripe yellow fruit. Does smell Belgian, at least. Fruity with strong pepper and light bubble gum. Too much bubble gum. Bit of clove on the finish. Malts and texture are well-done. Chewy, biscuity, deep, dry. But a pretty forgettable, fairly Americanized Saison character.

Canned 6/10/24, drunk 7/7/24. Chill hazed brass-golden. Little/no head. Juicy, rich ginger in the nose. Not easy to get at the saison character, but there's nothing off. Heavy but very well-done ginger in the flavor. Some spicy phenols on the end. Nice and malty. Clean and spicy. More of a ginger beer than a saison, but delicious nonetheless.
