On tap at NHBF. Hazy golden orange colour, dense white head. Aroma is fruity, sweet, candy (raspberry sweets). Flavour is sweet, raspberry candy, flowery, light malty, light bitter finish. Light to medium bodied. Decent new brew by Texelse, albeit a bit one-dimensional.

Bottle, 6%. Good grainy aroma. Cloudy golden colour, small floating bits. Good big white head. The flavour is mildly malty, grainy in an OK way. Medium bitterness, clean enough. Good mouthfeel.

33 cl.@ home. Hazy light amber with a firm white head. smells yeasty. Taste is not very exciting, a bit thin and watery and slightly metallic. Based on the colour and aroma you would expect a lot more flavours and layers.

30 cl bottle. pours hazy copper brown with a decent off-white head. tastes at first very yeasty but after that some caramel and banana is noticable. Could use some more body though. fair amount of bitterness in the aftertaste. Overall a nice but not exceptional bock-like autumn beer.

[Bottle at the Bootlegger, High Wycombe] Brown with a large beige head and too much fizz. Had flavours of toffee, butter, and a little chocolate. Felt thin and yet vaguely cloying in the mouth. Weak-tasting given the high ABV. Perhaps it was hurt by comparison to the cask ales that I had the rest of the night, but this really didn’t do it for me. c8
