Bottle 330ml.Unclear - hazy medium amber colour with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, moderate yeasty, yeast, leather and banana notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, malty and yeasty, leather notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110923]

Bottle. Pours a dark amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma with weak hints of dark fruit. Sweetish malty caramel flavor with hints of dark frit. Has a fruity malty caramel and dark fruit finish.

33cl bottle bought in Bodegraven, Holland. Cuivrée avec un léger trouble, col est épais blanc. Arôme de levure dans la lignée bières belges. Léger malt pale, fruité avec impression d’esters et levure donnant ce nez de basse-court. Petite pointe de fruits noirs; figue ou date. En bouche, malt, fruité, levure, blé avec un peu de fruits rouges/noirs. Qcq sucre résiduel pour un palais qui reste crémeux, malt caramel et aspect de renfermé. Bon mais sans plus, on ressent bien sur le côté bière blanche belge avec une touche d’ester pour le profile allemand.

Bottle from Jumbo supermarket, Den Burg, Texel, Netherlands, 27.09.11 consumed outside Frank (camper) at Den Hoorn campsite, Texel island 28.09.11 Pours orange/amber with a slim white head, touch hazy. Warming with a nice kick, spicy in mouth, good winter warmer. I’ve had one last night though that was a bit of a gusher. A7 A3 T7 P4 Ov14 3.5

Had this sat outside the De Hollebol Grand Cafe, Den Burg, Texel on a glorious sunny day 28.09.11 Pours dark conker brwon with a light beige head. This is a big malty beer very tasty and full bodied, thick in the mouth with just a little streak of citrussy hop showing. b] A6 A4 T8 P4 Ov14 3.6

Picked this up from Jumbo supermarket 27.09.11, Den Burg, Texel and had this sat outside Frank (camper) at Den Hoorn campsite, Texel island on a glorious evening 28.09.11 Pours amber in colour (dark amber maybe) Quite chewy and fruity with some toffee. This is a tasty beer with a bit of oomphh.. Soft in the mouth, with a little late creaminess and late spicy yeast. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov14 3.4

Had this sat outside the Texelse brewery, Texel island on a glorious day 28.09.11 Pours copper in colour with very good clarity. This is soft in the mouth with a bit of heat from the alcohol showing. There is some caramel, it’s medium bitter, nice carbonation, touch of spice, its very nice. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

Had this at the Texelse brewery, Texel island 28.09.11 Pours hazy warm gold with a white head. Nose is a little subdued, taste is light banana, lightly fruity, soft in mouth, bit yeasty, quite nice. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.0

Bottle from Jumbo supermarket, Den Burg, Texel, Netherlands, 27.09.11 consumed outside Frank (camper) at Den Hoorn campsite, Texel island the same evening Pours golden though the light is fading fast so I may be incorrect here, however there is a sticky foamy head. Another Texel beer with a slight metallic edge, but its soft in the mouth, touch lagery, mid sweetness, some light fruitiness, it’s quite nice. A6 A3 T7 P3 Ov13 3.2
