Thuis uit een flesje, gekregen van Huub. Troebel donker goudgeel, goed wit schuim. Aroma vind ik “gistig”. Smaak neigt naar zuur, ook wel redelijke bitterheid. De “wild saison” is voor mij niet het perfecte bier.

A hazed golden ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity mix of tart ground cherry, light lactic notes, horseblanket, Epsom salts, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity mix of ground cherry, light lactic notes, light Epsom salts, horseblanket, very nice.

Clear copper orange beer, no head. Aroma: nice, slightly smoky, a bit funky, fruity notes, white grapes. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: lovely, fruity, nice acidity, lemon juice, complex, a bit earthy, white grapes, a bit woody. Aftertaste: acidic, some tannins, leathery, slightly oxidized, complex and very pleasant!

Bottle 33cl. poured into a tumbler. A bit unclear pale amber colour, fair moussy white head, half-way lasting, light lacing. Aroma pale malt, bit sourish, yeast, lemon, apricot, herbal notes. Taste medium sweet and light sour and bitter, herbal notes, woody notes, herbal notes. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, sourish aftertaste with sweetbitter elements, herbal and spicy notes, refreshing, very nice.

Bottle 33cl. @home poured into a tulip glass. Sour nose. Opaque amberbrown colour, good frothy off-white head, diminishing slowly, light lacing. Complex aroma, sweet malt, caramel, fortified wine, dark fruit, figs, some funk, vinous notes, earthy notes. Taste medium sweet, light bitter and sour, tart, tannins, dark fruit, grapes, some medicinal notes, retronasal earthy impression. Medium body, oily to watery texture, soft carbonation, rather fruity sweet and sour aftertaste, grapes, berries, mineral notes, herbal impression, bitterrish finish, easy to drink, very interesting, good.
