Bottled (from Timo A, 5.3%). Deep amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is caramel malts, saltwater and some slighty cardboardy notes. Flavour is caramel, burnt sugar and some saltwatery grainy notes.

Bottled (alc. 5.3%). Slightly hazy nut brown color, small beige head. Grassy papery aroma, a bit chocolaty too. Flavor is grassy, kind of dark malty with some harsh notes. Grassy, grainy aftertaste. Boring.

Aroma is light to moderate malty, moderate yeasty, banana, rubber. Flavor is moderate sweet and light rubber bitter with a average to long duration. Bottled. A golden-amber beer with a thin yellowish head. The aroma is sweet with notes of alcohol and malt. The flavor is sweet malty combined with notes of alcohol, leading to a dry bitter finish.

(33cl screw cap bottle) Clear, dark amber colour with a beige fluffy foam. Sweet and moderately toasted and bready malty aroma with notes of caramel, chestnut puree and traces of alcohol. Sweet flavour with a tinge of burnt bitterness, quite slim for an abv of 6.2%, smooth mouthfeel. Toasty dark malty taste with caramel flavours and nutty notes; sweet malt-accented finish with shy traces of herbal hops. One of the better Engelbräu brews, too bad it is only made for women (23.II.09).
