Tap at Cask and Vine. Light caramel and bready maltiness with bits of pepper clove and some faint non descript fruitiness. Medium body moderate carbonation. Pretty tasty beer.

Bomber filled 5/18/17, shared by AFH on 5/20/17.
Light haze in this soft-hued, copper-tinted golden body. Frothy white head atop is small and shows moderate retention for the style.
Juicy hop notes seem to take front and center stage here with big tangerine-peach-melon notes from the El Dorado and more dry, lightly pine-accented mango and orange from the mosaic. Not intensely juicy or anything and rounded out by light lactic acidity. The nose offers up an enjoyable, fragrant enough hop character that you don’t even think to look for the gose character, at first.
And unfortunately, when I do look for it, when faced with drinking the liquid, I’m left scratching my head....where the hell is the gose?? For that matter, where the hell is the beer?? This is just a bland, watery, wheat beverage with trailing hints of lactic acidity, and mostly remnants of the hops seen in the nose, sitting on the finish. Soft apricot, tangerine and mango with light, bubbly carbonation and no alcohol, flaw or eve salinity. Wow, there’s literally nothing here.

Bottle from Fort Point Market, drunk 4/29/17.
Bright copper-golden body shows a gentle haze and very large, persistent, white head.
Very strong Brett notes add quite a bit of perfume and borderline soap character as the strong white wine-like, nearly musty quality of the Nelson serves to reinforce and unfortunately, to me, exacerbate this quality.
It’s prominent in the flavor, too, as big, incredibly hard-worked Brett seems to have pumped out tons of rich pineapple, light soap and twangy sourdough-like notes that get no reprieve from a high attenuation and very dry, wine-like Nelson character. High carbonation is natural and engaging while the malt shows biscuit, bread and very low sweetness. The bottle sat warm on the shelf, not sure exactly how long but that seems to have really kept fermentation going strong as this is just incredibly overdone with the Brett; the Nelson not helping out here in any way either.

750 ml Growler filled at the brewery 48 hours ago. Hazy golden color. Aroma is light citrus and maybe a touch of earth. I really, really am being objective here. Flavor is extremely light. Not sour, tart, or hoppy. The body is very thin. Just not a whole lot here. Damn... What happened to David? Oh, wait, he didn’t brew this.... Never mind.
