Can. Interesting experiment with saison yeast and bolder hop profile. The yeast is somewhat shown through the hops. Has a slight juicy character but also a Belgian slight funk note to it. Is it totally cohesive? You can be the judge.

Can. This is precisely what the brewer says it is. Flavor starts with tangerine followed by pomegranate and ends on mild grass notes. Very juicy with no bitterness. Lots of fruit fruit purée but it certainly does taste good.

5 oz. draft. Extremely light and clean. Mild grapefruit, lemon, and a crisp texture. For only 2% this is kind of a thing of beauty.

Draft sample. Flavor shows huge dark fruits (raisins / fig/ dates), Some sticky caramel, and pine like hops to balance the malt. Alcohol is somewhat hidden. Good for such a young barleywine. This is bold.

Can pour into nonic pint glass from the brewery. Appearance is cloudy dark yellow with orange tinge, lots of effervescent sparkle at the edges of the glass, finger-plus width white light foamy head with good retention and light soapy lacing. Aroma is mix of lemon and orange citrus along with pineapple and coconut. Taste is pineapple, coconut with some mildly astringent tart citrus for balance. Palate is medium bodied with smooth, thick texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, I wish it had nixed the mild tart aspect and just gone full-on juice! Feels bigger than 5.5%

Pours clear brown with a thin white head. Aroma of nutty malt. Palate has dark roasted malt notes similar to that of a toasted porter. Palate has nuts, toasted malt, and mildly oaky hop notes. Good.

Aroma and flavor are a mirror. Citrus replaces the typical zesty Saaz hop character. Notes of honey, cracker, and light citrus.

No date code on can. Aroma is citrus, celery, and some light grassy hints. Flavor has bright citrus right up front with mild grassy and celery hints in the finish. Very low bitterness. Kind of better than I was anticipating.

12 ounce can. Pours a orange hue with a large white head. A really nice fresh hop citrus nose. Fresh fruity hops, light ginger, caramel, sort of tastes like a old school Celebration style IPA which I am very happy about. Quite nice.
